Six Nations Rugby is coming back to Edinburgh in just a few weeks! As you walk past Haymarket station, it’s a five minute walk to us, stop for a beer and a burger, then we are just ten minutes walk from Murrayfield Stadium. We love the bustle and excitement that comes with every home Scotland game. This year Murrayfield is to host two of the Six Nations rugby matches in February 2018 – we play France on the 11th and then England in the long-standing Calcutta Cup, on the 24th. Our hotel books up very quickly when the rugby is on, so remember to reserve your luxurious hotel room at The Dunstane fast.
We are ideally situated half way between Haymarket Station and Murrayfield Stadium. It’s the perfect pit stop on your way to the game, so if you’re not staying with us, you’re welcome to call in for refreshments. We love to fire up the barbecue on match days. Grab a delicious burger and a cold drink, soak up the atmosphere in our garden or warm up in the B’a Bar.
For guests staying in our hotel throughout the tournament, we can assure you of the best Scottish welcome. Relax in the Ba’ Bar with your choice from our fine wine, Champagne and whisky selection. Enjoy a dram or two of Single Malt Scotch Whisky and our trained bartenders can offer you a knowledgeable experience in whisky tasting. We also offer a delicious all-day dining menu and a full Scottish breakfast in the morning.
In Edinburgh we know exactly how to celebrate a Scotland game day, regardless of the result! Here at The Dunstane we get right in there with our sleeves rolled up and party with the best of them, while at the same time giving the amazing service we are known for. We look forward to welcoming more rugby loving guests (from either team!) to our hotel soon. Give us a call or book online before it’s too late.
